Okay. So back to, May. Seriously my life is so boring that I can’t recall any interesting things that have happened after Chinese New Year. Okay, maybe a few major office-drama-politic. But other than that, I pretty much STILL am doing the same thing day in day out. STILL hanging out with the same friends, actually only see them once every month. And, yeah. It’s so official, I lead a boring life. So boring that I want to do so many things

1. Sign up for Japanese language course. Tomorrow I’m gonna do it. Classes commences, in say 1 or 2 weeks time. Hopefully, there are interesting people to meet there.

2. PLEASE do my freaking braces. I cannot wait so long lah I’m 2x years old. Not 16!!! I guess that’s the price to pay for paying only 10% of what the private clinics are selling. Okay, actually, I would still wait and pay only RM 700 than pay RM 7000 loh.. Just a few more months wouldnt hurt.

3. I need holidays. Went to Singapore last month, just 1 1/2 days to be exact. Nothing much to explore because didn’t have much time. But I SO WANT TO GO Bangkok and stay at Phranakorn Nornlen Hotel and Gemia Island in Terrenganu.

4. Because my life revolves around the cycle of, eating-working-sleeping-driving. I’ve gained weight lah !!! T_T time to go back to gym.

5. Oh, I want to plant a tree too.

Bad news first. I most likely have to make one of the biggest decision in my life. In order to fix my ‘open bite’ problem, I would most likely have to commit to 3 years of pain. Bonus, a surgery might be is needed. From the discussion (or rather check-up), I would need to do a 6-9 months of braces, then a surgery which would cause me to have a swollen jaw for the next x months, then another 6-9 months of braces, then only I would get super teeth!

second option, is just to have braces, but the ‘open bite’ wouldnt be resolved…. So ………what’s the point right?

what should I do ?? I’m thinking to just go ahead with the first option because, hey, I think I’ve had enough of bad teeth, so if I want to have pretty teeth, here’s the sacrifice. (I’m really envious of people with straight teeth ok) But another side of me goes like.. wtf I’m not 15 years old leh.. 3 years sounds like a pretty loooong time. Plus, there’s A SURGICAL PROCEDURE. which by all means, I would most likely look different after 3 years. Well, if it’s for the better, why not right ?? tsk tsk

Man, I have 3 weeks to think whilst the doctors come up with (hopefully) another solution or option for me to choose…

On the better side, hey, my dentist is the best there (as per my friend) and there’s ALSO another attending dentist who’s kinda cute. HA HA and he speaks English !! My BM sucks okay. during my first visit I was thinking so hard on how to talk in BM that it’s kinda embarrassing.

During the first visit, Dr. R checked my teeth, the formation and took moulds with some green/blueish stuff that looked like clay, and another one was to see how big the gap was between my upper and lower row of teeth. That was using some red pinkish stuff that looked like chewy wax. Ha ha.

Before the 2nd visit, I’m suppose to do scaling (remove plaque / stains from teeth) and get some x-rays.

OKay, i DO have 32 teeth and my wisdom teeth are all out although not at the perfect position.. But the gap.. man… the DAMN GAP …… (that squarish whitish thingy is the thing I was suppose to bite at while the x-ray machine moves around my head. It’s not candy)

*ching* Idea : Well, I saw this bluetooth sign on my laptop. Which means my laptop can activate bluetooth connectivity right ?

Solution : Which means I can send files to and from my phone without the cable? Ah hah..

Major Problem : But how do I actually activate the bluetooth on my laptop ??

She decided to fool me today

When I came back from work today, walked up the stairs and smelled something like pee. (uh huh..)

Then I walked to my room. yikes, why is my bed WET?

I am bloody 22 going on 23 years old how can I EVER PEE ON MY BED and its still wet even after 12 hours? wtf.

So, I asked everyone who’s at home at that time…

“Oh, the small dog came into the house today”

Bummer. She came up to my room and PEED on my bed… super wtf

So, I gotta sun-dry my mattress tomorrow. No bed for me tonight

1. Join a marathon (start easy ok 10km is enough)
why? That would be my goal, thus pushing me to go gym and increase my stamina and *duh* lose weight

2. Go for a beach holiday in June / July
Maybe Gemia Island or some island in the East Coast. Oh, maybe Krabi ^_^

3. Expand circle of friends.
That… is a big “how” question. OK, but, I need more friends. So, say hello!

Ok thats it. Can’t be greedy.

Cupcakes are fun snacks and one can have them at anytime of the day.

Some may lick off the sugary frosting bit by bit before getting to the cake while others prefer to spoon small portions of the cake into the mouth.

However, for cupcake lover Joanne Ho, there is a proper way of enjoying these delights.

“Peel off the paper cup from the cake and bite into three-quarters of it. That way, you get the cake and the frosting together and won’t find the topping too sweet or sugary,” she explained.

That is why Ho, who owns Cupcake Chic at the Curve in Petaling Jaya, does not encourage her customers to spoon her cupcakes although cutlery is provided upon request.

Ho, an ex-banker, quit her job three years ago to indulge in her passion for baking. The idea for the cupcake specialty shop came following the cupcake trend in the United States after the sitcom Sex and the City.

“Cupcake specialty cafe is still new here although there are many online businesses and those made upon order,” she said.

Ho liased with pastry Chef Lim Swee San, who was studying at the Le Cordon Blue culinary school in Australia, and they met via the Internet and hooked-up to produce a variety of 100 cupcakes .

“We made many varieties and tested them out with friends and that’s how we improved and came up with the current 25 varieties,” she explained.

Using top quality imported ingredients and chocolates, the cupcake menu for the outlet changes daily. However, Ho’s five top-selling range is retailed everyday.

They are Back to Basics (vanilla cake with vanilla frosting), Naughty n’ Nice (vanilla cake with chocolate frosting), Othello (chocolate cake with vanilla frosting), Fatal Attraction (chocolate cake with chocolate frosting) and Chocofee (coffee cake with coffee frosting).

The outlet also had a Valentine’s Day special, which was called Love At First Bite in the form of a vanilla cake with strawberry sauce centre and chocolate frosting.

Other options at the outlet include Rum n’ Raisins (rum and raisins cake with rum frosting), 24 Karat (carrot walnut cake with lime cheese frosting), Masala Chai (Chai cake with Chai cheese frosting) and Butterpecan (butterpecan cake with caramel frosting).
